With twin turbo charged Yanmar 240 hp diesels, bow and stern thrusters, close quarters maneuvering is a piece a cake even in less than desirable conditions. Mainship Pilots are very efficient boats, descendants of the lobster boats, these Downeast boats are fuel sippers only faster and with 250 gallons of fuel at 17 knots and 2500 rpm her estimated range is 450 miles.
